Avvanta is aware of a network fault that has reduced redundancy. We are working with our carrier to resolve this issue. At this time you may notice periods of slow or intermittent connectivity. UPDATE 1/20 2:35AM PT: The upstream carrier reports that their optical team is now onsite. No ETR at this time. We will update this notification as further information is obtained. UPDATE 1/20 2:20 PM PT: The new fiber has been installed, and the crew on-site is working on splicing the ends. No ETR at this time. UPDATE 1/20 8:04 PM PT: The upstream carrier optical team is currently working on new cable placement for the additional damage found. Once both ends are prepared an ETR will be provided. UPDATE 1/20 10:23 PM PT: We have received notifications indicating that the network fault impacting redundancy on our network is recovered at this time. However, the upstream carrier continues to work splice repairs and has not provided an ETR. We will update this notification as soon as we receive an ETR and/or an official hands off update from the upstream carrier. UPDATE 1/21 12:21 AM PT: The upstream carrier reports that the replacement 288-count fiber cable has been successfully pulled into place and both ends of the cable have been fully prepared. Splice work is being performed and the ETR provided is 03:21 AM 1/21. UPDATE 1/21 1:40 AM PT: The upstream carrier has reported that one end is complete and the other has about 80 fibers left to splice. Some customers may start to see services restore as splicing continues. UPDATE 1/21 4:55 AM PT: The upstream carrier has reported that the damaged fiber is repaired and they are hands off.
